I also realized agents and record labels tend to push a certain look. So many of my favorite bands and singers hop across different ones, or had songs rejected. I find it silly when Swifties speculate about her inner workings or motives, but sometimes things like that was the recording label's choice than their own. "Do this, it'll sell. No one will like that." Etcetera.
