Harry Styles makes pop-rock boy band stuff - 1989. Joe Alwyn likes indie/electro/rock. So on and so forth. Travis seems like the kind of guy who listens to Motown whilst lifting or driving or making pancakes or some shit. Wood is 'his' song.

I also realized agents and record labels tend to push a certain look. So many of my favorite bands and singers hop across different ones, or had songs rejected. I find it silly when Swifties speculate about her inner workings or motives, but sometimes things like that was the recording label's choice than their own. "Do this, it'll sell. So it can either be really good music or cringe to me.
