This is SUCH A GOOD IDEA. THANK YOU. I am going to do this! She's probably going to be annoyed at us but that's fine because this way we can pick something tolerable!

I mean it won't totally solve the problem because she's going to buy more weird shit at some point but it will at least help until she burns through the ten million we're going to buy!

Why would she be annoyed by this? You are supporting the thing she wants to do and buying her more candles, seems like a win. You could always invite her too, and that way you could test scents she likes and have a veto for them.
