Like others have said, don't do it. They don't want to improve their own life, they want YOU to fix their life for them. Instead of living with their mother who (it sounds like) does everything, they want to live with you and you'll get to do everything. Is that what you want? Is your health up to being a caregiver? It's a hard and stressful life, and your blood pressure will suffer.

You can care about someone without destroying your life for them, and your comment about blowing up your life shows how you really feel about this. Is it that you think you're not a nice person if you don't do this? You can be nice, kind, and loving without damaging your life and health for someone else. If someone loves you they won't ask that of you.
