Very good point. I somehow forgot all about Superwholock (was not in any of the fandoms, but at the time that did not matter, you heard about it whether you wanted to or not). I think it's just a timing thing. Like all those mega fandoms merged and happened at the time social media was on the rise and LJ was on the downswing and changes were going to happen no matter what but of course the biggest names are going to get blamed.
