As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Monday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

Started watching Friends for the first time and I knew Ross was super hated, and he is pretty awful, but honestly Rachel is just as terrible. They deserve each other, or at least bring out the worst in each other.

Phoebe from Friends is pansexual, imo.

Joanna, Rachel's boss on Friends, made a passing joke about Rachel sleeping with her to improve her career. My dumb brain instantly wrote steamy femslash.

I still can't believe that Harvey Weinstein's ex assistant got to make Star Wars. There's no chance she wasn't a part of his crimes as his top PA. I wasn't surprised that she made a series where the dark side character is just misunderstood and not evil at all.

I might finally watch Yuri!!! On Ice now that the western fandom for it has long since died down

I liked Kirk's command T-shirt in Star Trek The Motion Picture. I know it just shows how old I am, but that outfit seemed more "futuristic" to me than any of the grimy jumpsuits or textured tops that current sci-fi uses. I liked it when Sci-Fi was clean and smooth looking.

I know judging people for the media they consume isn't great and I actually rarely do it but daaamn if I don't immediately think less of Love and Deepspace stans.
(Brought to you by my "I blocked every version this trash game's name can be written and every name of those crap characters and I still see it everywhere" frustration.)

My mom commented recently that she's surprised that I don't write as much as I did as a kid. I used to write little stories all the time for fun as a child, and give them out as presents. I had piles and piles of cute writing journals and notebooks. I'd like to tell her that I'm writing a lot actually, now as an adult, and my writing skills have actually increased, but I'd rather die than let her know or God forbid read any of my filthy obscure slash fics.

There's this baking competition show called Baking It with Maya Rudolph and it is so unfunny, so cringey, it's like she was forced to do it at gunpoint.

The secret is that after losing my access to Holiday Baking Championship episodes, I was desparate enough to watch every episode.

If I were drowning in money and influence, I'd finance someone at Disney to make an Aladdin 4 movie. I want to see what their kids would look like!

Besides both being cop partners, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps and Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler also share my sentiments that even though I respect them being just friends, and love that....

Part of my guiltily ships them romantically.

I'm in a fandom for a sitcom, and there's angst galore.

I associate the show with whump and MCD, and have to remind myself that it's a comedy. A few jokes have been ruined for me entirely because of what fics have done with them.

Love the fic though, so it's worth it.

I dislike the Kardashians/Jenners like everyone else does.
But MY GOD does it annoy me to hell and back how people are blaming Kylie Jenner and her family for Timothy Chalamet saying sexist patriarchal bullshit and whatever else he does that ruffles the internet's jimmies.

Maybe he's always been that way and maybe that's why he's been dating Kylie Jenner for as long as he has been.

The coddling of famous men (and men in general) and the quick move to blame a woman for his behavior/words is so pathetic.

Maybe he's a shitty guy with shitty opinions and has a shitty view of women and patriarchy. Shitty people can be funny, charming, talented and good looking. Timmy isn't some malleable dumb-dumb who mindlessly nods along to his girlfriend's every whim because he's just that blinded by his attraction/care towards her.

I don't like Adam Sandler because
1. I find him gross
2. I don't him funny
3. I'm a teacher and he reminds me of those really annoying kids in class who think they're hilarious but distract other kids from learning and are consistently rude to the teacher. I know nothing of his life, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the kind of student he was.

I only like Will Ferrell in Elf. He's too offputting to be funny in anything else.

I tell people I relate to Phoebe the most because I'm often the outlier in group settings and I tend to march to the beat of my own drum, but I relate to Monica the most.
Perfectionism and people pleasing as a result of being the Scapegoat Child to the Golden Child. I can play the Mother role in my friend groups and my judgmental words can hit a bit too hard so my friends have hidden silly things from me.

I don't read comments in the GC if they don't have a Subject line.

My eyes just seem to skim over them. I only just realized I've been missing out on a bunch of topics.

Loved Star Trek Lower Decks, still cannot stand Rick and Morty though.

I had so hoped that Disney would do a one-off Fantastic Four cartoon special, using the animation style from the cartoon in the movie, for Christmas. Especially since First Steps was their biggest hit for a good long while. Just as a bit of fun. But it looks like it ain't gonna happen.

You already had the models and animation set up done for the movie, come on Disney, would one little forty-five minute special with extra added "classic" cartoony action be too much to ask?

I'm not interested character/reader fic at all, just not my personal cup of tea.

But I am absolutely truly grateful that people have gotten less embarrassed about embracing that type of fanfic because it's drastically reduced some of the worst ship-fic where it was very clear that the writer was projecting themselves onto one of the characters and used them as a vessel to fuck/fall in love with the character in the ship they actually liked.

Great for those writers for being able to fully enjoy a genre they like and great for me not having to deal with their shitty fanfic anymore because it's bundled away in tags I don't even look at, lol.
