I liked Kirk's command T-shirt in Star Trek The Motion Picture. I know it just shows how old I am, but that outfit seemed more "futuristic" to me than any of the grimy jumpsuits or textured tops that current sci-fi uses. I liked it when Sci-Fi was clean and smooth looking.

The white shortsleeved one. The wardrobe department did Shatner a lot of favors in that.

In fact I think Wardrobe only really dropped the ball twice, once with Disco-McCoy (although I do love that one too, despite the disco-Doc thing), and the second time with showing us so much of Stephen Collins's dick and balls in that jumpsuit. Which, I suppose, accidental FORESHADOWING!!
