I've had the same experience with Blizzard's merch, it's surprisingly good. I got some keychains/magnets last year and they're really heavy and well-made, and they weren't expensive at all.

FFXIV has some variation. Some of their stuff is really nice, some of it feels kind of cheap. A lot of it feels pricey for what you get.

I have a cactuar necklace that I LOVE. It's really nice and feels so solid and good quality. But then I bought this little light thing and it feels like it should have been sold at a dollar store. So I agree, it varies a lot.
