I get the feeling book!Dorothy is a lot younger in the first book -- she's only a seasoned ten-year-old fantasy-adventure expert in her later appearances. So I'm not sure it would change Wicked much, except to make all the adult characters look a lot messier for how much they're exploiting a tiny child...

More mainstream fandom attention for book!Dorothy would be a welcome bonus, though.
