Is the author of the Santa Claus manga an actual Christian, or is "evil atheists take power and oppress us" a multicultural victim fantasy?

I only know about this because someone posted a few screenshots and I thought they were calling it the Santa Claus anime in that dumb weeb way where you replace a Japanese name with something familiar that it kind of sounds like. The screenshots made me think it was a slice of life/drama about lesbians. Are you now telling me it's not about Santa Claus OR lesbians?

Santa Claus is the hero who protects children. The villains protect the abstract idea of childhood while sabotaging children’s ability to learn and grow into adults. One of the things children are prevented from learning is sexuality, which is where the teen lesbians come in.

I feel like rather than reading this manga, it would be quicker and more satisfying to read the inevitable thinkpieces about it.
