I have some fondness for the original animated short purely for the Chuck Jones of it all, but I cannot stand the Ron Howard movie; it's just so unpleasant to look at (those horrible prosthetic snouts the Whos have??? dreadful).

Ugh, I know. I’m usually a fan of slightly grotesque things and that movie is also really unpleasant to me.

Same, that one creeped me out and I don't think I ever even watched it. Just the previews of it were horrifying to me.
