Everyone's fandom porn browsing history, including yours, is revealed to the world. How would you react?

Mine is going to be so far down the list of interesting/shocking that I doubt anyone would care.

Retreat into an even more hermit-like existence. My preferences would be a huge shock for everyone I know and I don't think I could face them, even if they assumed I was strictly a masochist and/or sub.

I genuinely wouldn't care because the people I care about won't care. Plus, I don't think I'm into anything so horrible that many people would notice me in the sea of "Trump/Putin scat porn".

I'd be searching up celebrities to look up who looks themselves up lol

Mine is just run of the mill character shipping, no one that matters would be surprised and honestly some of my irl friends and family know that I’m in fandom so it wouldn’t even be news.

I juuuuuuuust wouldn't bring it up because I bet everyone would be focused on celebrities with funny/horrifying search histories.

Me and my tentacles of dubious consent would be but a drop in the ocean. Hopefully.

I went through a long "huh, what is this?" phase where I'd just read/watch anything out of (sometimes morbid) curiosity.

But that was years ago and I'm basically out of the game now so I'd be fine if it was only recent stuff.

Also what is considered "fandom porn browsing history"? Like are we talking straight up porn or R/NC17 fic or ao3 tag search reveals?

Hmm well, it's a hypothetical scenario inspired by the event, not a 1:1. Not much fandom live action porn exists. Assume it means all types of porn.

Does it include everything we've read or just things we read and actually liked? I've read so much random kink fic out of curiosity or because it was popular in my fandom, but never sought it out after that.

I guess the most they'd find are "protest porn" that other people posted on imgur. I don't really care for porn in general. I'd probably just shrug and talk about how everyone hates business daddy.

I'd be embarrassed for a while, but I overall know my tastes are kind of simple/normie. If anything, I think people who know me would be disappointed that I don't read a lot of m/m ships.

Everyone’s fandom porn sounds rather targeted. If it was everyone’s porn history I would be so lax. I am not going to jail or put on any watch list unlike many others………………….

To be fair whoever matters to me thinks I am into porn and kink because sometimes I would accidentally leave out in the open a commission, a smut cover of something I am trying to resell or a book open in an illustration and people assume things but it’s that I cared so little about the sex part of it that I wasn’t mindful

It would be actually funny to see the reactions. I’m sure the most unkind of the bunch would be disappointed that my porn history amounts to sporadic softcore m/m. Something about the biggest secret is when there’s none.
