Are... people judging you for not being into that? Or are you just thinking out loud? The way you worded this makes it sound like there's monsterfuckers looking down on you because you're into robots and aliens instead of werewolves, LOL.

+1...I mean, I get that in some circles too animal-like would get you labeled a furry, and if you're definitely not that can be an annoying thing to have to discuss. But in my experience monsterfuckers are happy to just ask what your favorite monster is, and if you casually throw out "nah fur/ears/wolves/whatever isn't my jam," no one judges. Like some people don't like too humanoid anthro-y monsters while other people do. I don't like aliens but I'm all for demons, other people wouldn't like demons but like a good Yoko Kurama here and there. I'd be so frustrated if there was a judgy monsterfucker clique out there.
