I'm not a fan of MPreg because it seems to be a reiteration of the toxic trend where there's a perception that when it comes to gay couples, you have to have someone be "the woman." The idea of a gay couple being made up of two men who just happen to love each other and do whatever they can to take care of each other? That's unpossible apparently. No, the only way for gay couples to work is to have a big strong manly man and a weak weepy femme male character with a spine as sturdy as wet tissue paper.

Now if one half of the pairing is a trans man or if we're talking about alien genetics, I'm onboard, but most of the time, I'm not a fan. It just seems to reinforce all the worst regressive gender stereotypes.
