Don't have a horse in this race, but I think it's fair to argue, if they were paid off, then we cannot know "for a fact" that they were lying before they were paid off.

Maybe they were, and the money was just to avoid dragging out a trial. Or maybe they weren’t, and the money bought their compliance. Neither of these things are "known for a fact".

Not to mention the parents accepted the money for a few reasons. First a trial would likely emotionally exhausting for a child. Also that money could pay for therapy. Another possible reason is to avoid harassment. Michael Jackson fans are SCARY. Nuff said

The accusation was about him behaving inappropriately with children. Many people (gestures at thread) deny it utterly and completely. I am just reminding people that we have him behaving irresponsibly and negligently and inappropriately on camera with a baby. It's not either "He raped all the children" or "He never did anything wrong in his life."

He has absolutely, one hundred percent, undeniably endangered children.
