Legion secret!! I'm totally with you OP. She was an interesting character, she definitely did a lot of things wrong. I liked how just about everyone in the show was morally gray to an extent, and how messy the interpersonal drama was. I wish the last season had been two seasons so we could have had some slower pacing on the character arcs, I was left kind of confused at how quickly some storylines resolved.

As a multishipper, I ignore the comments about ships I like that others don't. There's nothing exhausting about it. Unless you're actively following someone or comments about that ship and ppl are pooing on it for whatever reason. Still, you don't have to interact/read/acknowledge the stuff that "exhausts" you so much.

I multi-ship in some fandoms and in other I OTP. Or I'll ship one character with everyone. Or I'll ship two ships with the same character equally but not ship them with anyone else. It really depends on the fandom.

I feel like people who OTP a ship the fandom in general hates or hate a ship the fandom in general loves deal with this too. It can suck when you don't ship the most popular ships or ship a ship that is unpopular.

Hard agree. It’s particularly annoying in the Bleach fandom with *that* shipwar. It’s like nobody is capable of being positive about one ship without reflexively sniping at the other, and it makes looking through posts a slog. And being liberal with blocking then just removes nearly all discussion or content entirely because the sniping is so normalized.

I liked Kirk's command T-shirt in Star Trek The Motion Picture. I know it just shows how old I am, but that outfit seemed more "futuristic" to me than any of the grimy jumpsuits or textured tops that current sci-fi uses. I liked it when Sci-Fi was clean and smooth looking.

I know almost nothing about Runaways, but I knew people in the fandom from 15 years ago or so and all I know is that everyone hated Nico. A multifandom RPG that I watched had a Runaways cast, and while normally everyone begged for more castmates to join, the entire cast kept saying things like "We better not get a Nico. Who'd want to play that bitch anyway?" I hope that brings you some comfort, anon.

It annoys me how everyone overlooks the allegations of michael jackson ,espcially after he died. It sickened me how everyone acted like he was a saint when he died. Uh Hello,, he was accused of child molestation multiple times. Where there's smoke theres fire. Even disregarding the allegations, he was very inapproriate with minors (even going as far as having them sleep in his bed. The only reason why people even defend him or claim he's innocent is because of celebrity privilege. If he was a random person down the streat, nobody would defend him, much less associate or want to be friends with him. You wouldn't want to associate with any non celebrity accused with child molestation once, let alone multiple times. Aquittals be damned.

I don't think I'll ever watch The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in full, because I was very depressed when it came out to rent on iTunes and I got about 25 minutes in before I was interrupted. Afterwards, I just figured I couldn't do anything really stupid because I still had to finish it. I'm doing way better nowadays, but still...

I guess it's a little bit of a silly superstition!

I still can't believe that Harvey Weinstein's ex assistant got to make Star Wars. There's no chance she wasn't a part of his crimes as his top PA. I wasn't surprised that she made a series where the dark side character is just misunderstood and not evil at all.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Monday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

I wish there was a filter on Ao3 to not show anything from fandoms that aren't produced in English. I'm just not interested in anything coming out of Asia, whether it be K-Pop or Anime or Bollywood, and there's so damn much of it.
