I am so sorry, anon. That really sucks, and it sucks how so many people seem to completely lack empathy, and are unable to understand that other people have different lives and different situations. I totally get it too, because I have various weird things in my life that make small talk really suck because frankly I don't want to share a lot of it. Most people are more than happy to just talk about themselves, but sometimes they are nosy and it's hard to steer them away from asking me awkward questions.
