He may not have molested those children, but he was still acted weird and inappropriate with them. Even if he didn't inappropriately touch them, it doesn't mean they weren't harmed by his behavior.

Yup.

When an adult celeb expresses interest in being your kid's best friend... that's a red flag. Imagine this big shot befriends you and you have all these great times together... only for them to just dump you because you age out of innocence. Adolescence is rough already without somebody doing a shitty thing like that to you.

And that's not even getting into what is arguably groomer behavior (leaving porn on the table in full view of children, etc).

Yeah, exposing kids to porn is a form of "non-contact" grooming. I get he may not have meant anything and was probably abused as a kid, and that gave him a weird understanding of boundaries. But that doesn't change the fact he *did it*.

I've had people do similar things to me. I forgive them for it because it was just a boundary issue instead of touching or assault, but it was still crossing a line.

His behaviour with them was def inappropriate and creepy AF.
It's funny how he whined about not having a childhood, but look at the way he treats his child "friends" . He used them as human teddy bears and paraded them infront of a media circus.

I totally agree with this. He didn’t molest the kids he was accused of molesting, they’ve long since admitted that. He was inappropriate and he got called on a lot of it at the time. But the false accusations overshadowed reality and now so many years after his death it’s honestly a little strange for someone to feel very strongly about him one way or another. Either they just learned about him which means they’re unaware of the backlash he faces at the time and that the accusations are false, or they have a seriously unhealthy obsession with him. I think it’s the former because they think everyone ITT who doesn’t agree is a fan when in reality it was impossible to not know about everything as it happened. You didn’t have to be a fan of MJ to know what he did or didn’t do and witness the reactions to all of it.
