I have never seen anyone make this a Western vs. Eastern thing, only an Everything Else vs. Anime thing.

e.g. Nier Automata, Metal Gear, Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, etc etc. Don't hear people talking about those the same way even though they're plenty horny.

The Orientalist stuff usually focuses on gacha games like Girls’ Frontline.
