I get so frustrated with the end of the Bob’s Burgers movie. Bob should’ve asked for more than that month’s bank loan repayment. He should’ve asked Fischoeder to pay it off entirely.

But that’s not Bob’s character. He’s had plenty of times where he’s been paid and refused to take it. I’m surprised he took the bank clerk’s money in the Season 15 Christmas episode (but tbh the kid’s presents were actual shit that year).

I'm not interested character/reader fic at all, just not my personal cup of tea.

But I am absolutely truly grateful that people have gotten less embarrassed about embracing that type of fanfic because it's drastically reduced some of the worst ship-fic where it was very clear that the writer was projecting themselves onto one of the characters and used them as a vessel to fuck/fall in love with the character in the ship they actually liked.

Great for those writers for being able to fully enjoy a genre they like and great for me not having to deal with their shitty fanfic anymore because it's bundled away in tags I don't even look at, lol.

I wish Twilight hadn't so publically wrecked the vampire genre. I'd absolutely recommend the Empire of the Vampire series by Jay Kristoff to anyone, if it wasn't for the fear of being judged for liking "trashy vampire romantasy", which it definitely is not!

I only buy anime/manga merch if it's flat.

Prints, artbooks, postcards, stickers.. But even better if it's functional, like a notebook or a wall calendar.

Figurines and plushies just take up space and collect dust, no matter how detailed or well made they are.

One legitimate criticism I will die on a hill against Taylor Swift was the bullshit stunt she pulled on Olivia Rodrigo's "1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Backwards".

Imagine Steven Spielberg getting pissed off and demanding co-director credit for "Frankenstein" because Guillermo del Toro has openly spoken of being inspired by the way Spielberg shoots emotional shots.
