Thinking about Taylor and Matty Healy still makes me kind of sad. I don't think he's a good guy, but it seems like they had this burning passionate romance that was just doomed, and I can almost picture a world in which they made it.

Seems pretty clear to me that it was the kind of attraction that only seemed amazing when it couldn't be fulfilled. Then the moment they're finally both free to try an actual relationship, it implodes because it wasn't ever much more than fantasy about what you can't have.

yeah I mean he was 100% her rebound, and rebounds never work out well for anyone. Except that idk that I'd say she fully got it out of her system because it seems like he ghosted her before she had time to do that

Yeah, I'm not a Swiftie so I don't know much about her relationships but when I saw what Matty Healy looked like compared to the actor she dated, I could tell it was a rebound. The intense sort that felt deep and passionate, but probably more of a thrill in the heat of the moment. It wasn't meant to last.

My entire awareness of him was based on one Nevermind the Buzzcocks appearance, where I thought he was pretty charming. Not that it was hard when up against the host.

Weird to learn years later that he was still relevant and had a lot of other baggage.

Seeing as I got into Rodrina a couple months ago, I get why Taylor and Matty worked, though I'm not a fan of either of them. I definitely like Taylor's music more.
