I'm Jewish but thanks anyway. I wished everyone a good Christmas because the majority of people on here are usually some type of Christian.

This is so weird.

I mean no offense, but why not just clarify that in your parent post? "I don't celebrate Christmas, but merry Christmas?" I'm not Christian either, but most people will assume I am if I state otherwise.

Because they are stating that this is a dominant culture here.
That is why they do not usually celebrate any other holiday here. Including Jewish ones

Fun fact. Christmas isn't universal.
