Hell, you don't even have to be spending tons of time around something for it to show up in your dreams. I've had dreams that involved things like commercials that I just happened to catch during something else I was watching, and for whatever reason my brain decided to seize on an element from it and then bring it back up in my dreams. Why? Who knows. Brains are weird.
