In spite of a migraine and little sleep last night, still been a fun day. Nice presents from mom, some nice food, and the best part has been watching the kitty enjoy her presents.

Exactly. Presents for kitty are presents for everyone. She got a new scratcher shaped like a couch from me, a couple freeze-dried tuna treats, and several toys from my mother.

Like any random weekend (we don't really do holidays), except we ordered a par-baked pizza and they gave us the wrong one so they sent us the correct one for free. Christmas miracle!

It went well! My gifts were all well received, even the handmade ones, and fun was had. We managed to play about 4 different games throughout the day and avoid any tense topics. One more day of visiting then everyone heads home and I will have the weekend to decompress and chill.

It's been nice. I woke up late, opened presents with my younger sister. Happy with all the gifts I got 💕
Cooked all the side dishes. The only thing that didn’t turn out so good was a new baked potato recipe I tried out.

It's far over. It was fine. Bit stressful as always because my sister and her kids were over.

My trip to visit family for Christmas got derailed by said family coming down with covid Monday night, so I dropped off their presents and came back home. It's been a quiet day. I spent it playing video games and wasting too much time arguing with people so far up their own asses and so willfully ignorant that they seem to not understand basic economics of how a business functions.

Aw. That sucks. I'm so sorry for your family, I hope they get better soon. And I'm sorry about the arguing. I hope the games were fun at least.

I had a really nice Christmas. The gifts given and received were all perfect. The mood was light and joyful and loving. It was a no pressure day and we just ate leftovers we had from the week, we don’t really do holiday feasts. It makes for a more relaxed day and lower grocery bills.

Tiring, but otherwise pretty well. A particularly troublesome relative opted to stay home in a snit, and they weren't missed at all. It actually made my day better, not having to deal with their immaturity and sense of entitlement. I definitely tried to do too much when it came to cooking and food, but eh, it came off pretty well so IMO it's worth it.
