It's like I have anti-shipping goggled welded on. I simply don't see romance unless it's very explicit or done just right. I default to assuming non-romantic explanations for a lot of character moments. I still sometimes get surprised when the main characters kiss because I thought they were gazing off thoughtfully, not looking at the other one longingly.

I was never convinced by Tracy Scoggins as a military officer on Babylon 5. But I admit, I've never been convinced by her as an actor in anything at all. I know, just because you start as a model doesn't mean you can't also have solid acting chops, but it doesn't mean you can either. Scoggins just doesn't.

For all its faults, I liked that The Bourne Legacy had the guts to show the badass main character being absolutely terrified at the prospect of going back to his baseline cognitive function when the enhancements wear off. I know most people only showed up to the movies for Jason Bourne, but I was ready for something new.
