As you should. Safety regulations are written in blood, as the saying goes. It's bad enough if someone wants to cut corners and do things that risk their own safety, but having someone in a position of power/authority telling other people to....or even if they're not "telling" them to, but if it's the fucking director of a movie encouraging or suggestion, of course that person is going to feel obligated....that's disgusting.

Don’t forget the children! Having them there actually meant it was supposed to be even safer. Iirc, the grandfather of one was on the set and witnessed it but it’s been a long time since I read up on it so I could be confusing that with something else.
