She's both to me, which makes her character work so incredibly well. I've listened to interviews about how it was hard for the actress to get to the point where she could do the 'you're everyone and you're perpetually happy to help but you also can't look like you're permanently on drugs' expression and I think she absolutely nailed it. She is very pretty to me personally, but there is something unsettling about her, something creepy. Which is exactly what it should be. She's empty, a doll, a puppet doing exactly what the uninfected want from her (with the express goal of infecting them), not what she wants. Which, yes, in a fascinating, very toxic way makes her extremely fuckable and at the same time extremely punchable.
