I'm pretty neutral towards Aragorn specifically but agree strongly with the second part. There's some gender roles bullshit going on with the "you're allowed to be into fem men if you're a CHILD but as an ADULT you have to be gender conforming and attracted to the same" thing. Masc guys can be nice to look at sometimes but I'm not going to stop preferring men who are PRETTY.

A variant I hear a lot is "In-denial lesbians are attracted to elves because they're basically women who are safe to be attracted to because they're men but only on a technicality!"

I'll never understand why people get so weird about others being attracted to someone they're not attracted to.

Like, guys, if you can't just accept that different people are into different things, then at the very least haven't you realized that it means you have less competition for the people you *do* find attractive?
