I was so excited to watch The End of an Era documentary, but I'll be honest, I was a little disappointed. It felt kind of disjoined overall. I feel bad and don't want to complain because I am thrilled that we got anything at all and I LOVED seeing behind the scenes, I just wish that it had had a little more of a cohesive narrative. I felt like the timeline skipped all over the place. It felt less like a documentary, and more like a bunch of behind-the-scenes glimpses. Which again, it was great! I loved it! I was just hoping for more, I guess.

That's a bummer, OP. Sorry it let you down.

I can tell that this secret was written by someone who spends a lot of time around Swifties and is used to sugarcoating everything they say about her that is maybe even slightly negative. Look at all of the extra softening phrases they put in there. "I feel bad" "I don't want to complain" "I'm glad we got anything t all" "It was great" "I loved it" The secret should have simply been boiled down to two lines but they had to throw in all kinds of defensive remarks to protect themselves from the backlash.

This is not a slam on Taylor Swift btw. It's a slam on the people who are personally offended if someone says something about her or her work that isn't wholly and unambiguously positive.

I don't think you actually loved it if you have to qualify your feelings so much, especially in an anonymous secret.

it's part of swiftie culture, they train themselves to pour effusive praise on literally everything relating to her, and to repeatedly apologize if they are expressing a problem with something, because there are enough of them who will absolutely go for the throat if anyone dares criticize the queen that this is just a self defense reflex

look yo it's allowed to criticize or complain about her. this isn't a swiftie comm, you don't need to be scared that you will be doxxed and harassed and sent death threats because you blasphemed the patron goddess of midness. this is a space where you are allowed to be disappointed in something she put out without apologizing repeatedly about it.
