As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Monday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

Um, I actually liked Janice on Friends. She was pretty, and interesting, and I don't think deserved all the hatred.

I know the original Lord of the Rings film trilogy is better quality wise, but I think I'd have more luck getting my wife to watch The Hobbit movies with me instead. She complained that the last time she tried to watch LOTR, it was "boring" and "confusing", and the Hobbit movies seem more simple and fast paced.

I'm sort of glad (as both a pagan and enjoyer of Greek myth) that the tale of Dionysus and Ariadne isn't more widely acknowledged outside of online circles. They're lowkey my favourite couple and I'm glad they're not being ruined the same way Hades and Persephone get ruined. Bonus points for me since I'm a Dionysian.

I absolutely capital-H Hated Cozy Glow... right up until her villain reveal, whereupon she immediately became one of my favorite characters. I've had a reoccurring dream since childhood that I am *in* Jurassic Park, that the world has been overtaken by dinosaurs set loose on humanity and myself and others are trying our best to cope while exploring the new land.

The dreams can get a little scary, but honestly they are some of my favorite, adventurous dreams and I wake up excited.

I buy old teen magazines from the 90's on eBay. When I see one with a deceased teen idol on the cover and the price for it is ridiculously high, I refer to the prices as "Bleeding Gums Murphy prices".

Bonus Secret: I have actually bought some of those ridiculously high priced magazines.

1) When I say "teen magazines", I'm referring to magazines like Tiger Beat and Bop rather than Seventeen and YM.

2) I want the bonus secret to be in a smaller sized font than the main secret.

3) "Bleeding Gums Murphy prices" is a reference to the Simpsons episode where he dies and Lisa wants to buy his album Sax on the Beach. From the show's fandom wiki:

I think some people prefer 'winning' an imaginary fight than they actually enjoy shipping something, and this is why I think some sections of fandom are Like That.

I have the headcanon that in anime, the bigger a character's boobs, the fatter she's supposed to be.

I just want BBWs in anime. Plus-Sized Elf was a blessing.

This week I found out that a lot of people in the ST fandom ship Will/Mike.

Now I'm shocked people ship it to begin with, tbh any ships involved the 6 kids make sense if we're looking at their dynamics in that way.

No, what absolutely floored me is that there are folks out there who think that Will/Mike was going to happen? And this it was a legit, planned out romance? That they were baited with this ship???

This isn't even loosing chess to a dog levels of idiocy, this is just straight up refusing to have a brain.

Everyone else is arguing about ships in the Stranger Things fandom, while I'm so happy that Jamie Campbell Bower is getting so much well-deserved praise for playing Vecna.

He was one of the stand-out things for me in these last two seasons and I'm so happy he's finally getting some recognition for his acting chops.

(Also as a note to the secret makers as I'm seeing a few ST secrets in this batch, by all means space this one out a bit if you think it'll be too many at once)

I met up with a long term fandom friend irl for the first time and now I kind of want to distance myself from them.

They are nothing like they portray themselves online. So much so I'm shocked they even wanted to meet up with me and ruin the lies, but maybe they are just oblivious?

There's a girl in one of my fandoms who whines about how participating in Kinktober "traumatized" her and that she's not going to post her stories online anymore because.

It makes me wish that I could get her in contact with a war vet or a SA survivor who can tell her what REAL trauma is.
