Re: AI article this morning
(Anonymous) 2026-01-03 02:50 am (UTC)(link)And that isn't even getting into the fucking AI surveillance by Flock and such, and internet ID verification. (Because AI most certainly never misidentifies, noooooo /s)
It sucks worse in the US because of delightful law enforcement that also most certainly never misidentifies or does anything crazy like threaten others or injure/kill fully cooperating people or any innocent bystanders. (also /s if that wasn't obvious)
This shit needs to be reined in and heavily regulated. It's not sustainable, but it pisses me off to think of the fucking damage it will do (and is already doing) before someone with a conscience and a spine puts a stop to it.
