Don't worry about it. Being anything -sexual means you have the capacity for the attraction, and I think fictional crushes DO count, especially if they're on live action characters.

I've suspected my non-straight sexuality since I was 12, but I had similar worries because all my crushes were fictional. Then I had a queer crush in my late 20s. We didn't (or couldn't) date, but it was proof. You can have the capacity to be attracted to men and not meet someone IRL who suits your tastes.

As someone who used to despise vtuber models and couldn't watch them because they freaked me out - honestly, you get used to it.

My two favourite twitch streamers use vtuber models now. In the beginning I couldn't watch streams with the model and had to block it out on my screen. Now I'm completely used to it. Heck, last month a stream I expected to be with the vtuber model used the face cam instead and I was kinda disappointed.

That said, there's a huge range in terms of quality of vtuber models and there are some that I still can't deal with. One of my favourite streamers mentioned above has two vtuber models - I have completely gotten used to one of them, but I still avoid the other. I just can't handle it. (Luckily for me, it's rarely used and when it is, mostly for games I'm not interested in in the first place.)

Fingers crossed the model is something you can get used to with time, OP.
