My probation period is up on Wednesday and I've had bad luck with jobs and probation periods before.

My boss came around to ask how our holidays were and made a joke about me counting down the days with the calendar I got for work Secret Santa and I admitted I was a little worried about it ending. He told me it was fine and I was doing a good job, to not worry about it.

I worry that I'm getting my hopes up just to be let down again but it sounds hopeful.

Ooo, nice. I really hope the job stays good for you. Sounds like your boss likes you a lot. That does sound hopeful to me.
