Ooof you likely missed the secrets a while back where there were a few "MBB looks HAGGARD at 21." I tried leaving a short comment about hating how women are judged so harshly on their looks and who are we to decide what "age appropriate" even fucking means and was met with defensive "Gen Z don't know how to take care of their skin like millennials" type comments.
And it's like, my dude, y'all are projecting your own fears of aging onto MBB and Gen Z. Let women age however they want.

Isn't the entire "looks young/old for their age" way of thinking perpetuating that looking "young" is the ideal?
It's annoying because so many people say they hate youth culture and/or they hate how society is obsessed with young pretty things/older people being attracted to barely legal adults...and yet so many people gleefully jump at the chance to pick apart the looks of a 21yo because she dare not look ambiguously between teenager and early (EARLY) twenties.
