Also, "dependable" does not mean always agreeing to everything. It means showing up and doing your best to things you do agree to.

And for me personally, dependable means I can depend on you to say no when you don't want to do something as well. I personally have a hard time trusting people who always say yes because it makes me doubt that they really want to and think they might be a person that just can't say no. But that last part is mostly a me problem that I'm working on.

I also take note of people who say yes but tend to flake out last minute. Also likely people who don't know how to say no and make a big spectacle out of last minute canceling.
