Re: Don't understand but at this point too afraid to ask

The originals are really good, I loved the Australian version too, but I wouldn't recommend anything recent. Basically the Canadian version ruined it for me, as they didn't even have car rides and it was half celebrities and half 'normal' people. The celebrities were mostly from super reality TV and were extra dramatic trying to get screen rime rather than play the game, it ruined the whole thing for me.

Basically like they said above, its a game where a group of people are put to live in a rural sort of mansion, given a night to get to know each other, then three as picked as Traitors. They 'murder' a player each night, no one but the Traitors know who it is until someone doesn't show up for breakfast the next morning.
Each day they play a team game, usually driving from the house to the games site, forcing the Traitors and non-traitors to work together to earn money for the final contestants to win. They return to the mansion and interact until it's time to vote. Everyone writes a name down trying to eliminate the traitors, the person with the most votes is forced to leave, revealing if they were a traitor or not.
Even later that night, the Traitors reconvene and decide who they want to eliminate themselves. This goes on until either all the traitors are eliminated, or one survives until the final. The finaly can change per show, but it's a super fun concept, and extremely fun and entertaining when the contestants actually care about playing. I highly recommend it!
