I'm so sorry you're being subjected to assholes so often. Nobody deserves that.

I hope you find a job where you're appreciated and make new friends who don't suck. They're out there but you have to be kind of lucky to find them.

Your family are probably narcissists who like feeling needed all the time so they pay more attention to the people who give them that sort of feeling and attention.

I don't date so I don't have advice for you there but I'm sure luck plays a big part in that as well.
