I don't care at all. I want stalls with doors floor to ceiling, but I feel that way about cis women as much as I feel that way about anyone else. I don't want to see anyone else's naked body.

I don't want to see anyone else's naked body.

I don't mean to sound weird, but I'm kind of glad I grew up seeing a lot of other people's naked bodies (as a competitive swimmer, changing multiple times a day in shared women's change rooms, seeing people of both sexes change on the pool deck using towels).

It ended up giving me a really healthy impression of what people's bodies really look like, and I found I had way fewer body image issues than many of peers did as a result. I didn't even know what "cellulite" was until someone explained it to me as young adult - to me, that was just what fat on women's (and post-pubertal teen girls') upper legs looks like. Because, well, it is. It normalized all the lumps and dents and bulges that got airbrushed out of media; I didn't go around imagining that everybody had a perfect body but me - I knew that, when their clothes came off, they didn't.

Honestly mostly has to do with my issues with my own body. It feels awkward because I don't want anyone to see me naked. Being naked and around other naked people just feels weird. I always went into the shower or stall to change.

Honestly, agreed. I grew up in a school where all of us girls changed around each other and showered in the locker room and I have never once felt insecure about my body because seeing other people's bodies made me realize how very ordinary and normal mine is. No one had perfect boobs and even the skinniest girls still had some stretch marks and cellulite so I didn't feel bad about my own because like you said, everyone has it!

Agreed. It also destigmatizes sexualizing bodies/body parts. I grew up opposite. I was super shy and afraid to be naked around others, didn't see other people naked often. I also grew up in an environment where bodies were shamed or were sexualized. No neutral zones.

It wasn't until I was an adult and I began doing therapy work and unpacking my own body image issues did I start becoming comfortable in my own body as well as seeing other naked bodies. I can still find myself getting caught up in my insecurities but I am working more on recognizing it and working on not shaming.

I come from a culture where sharing baths and spas and things is normal. Naked bodies aren't automatically sexual to me.

I still don't really wanna see random people naked and would avoid it if possible though. Something being 'normal' doesn't mean its automatically aesthetically pleasant, or that one must find it so.

Just wanted to say it might be unhealthy for some but I don't think it's necessarily that way all the time.

We heard you the first time. Your culture isn't special. Even public pools in the US let little kids swim naked.

lol triggered

And I've never seen a US public pool that allowed little kids to swim naked. In fact I've seen the opposite -- they recommend clothing/swimwear that help contain accidents. Why? Little kids tend to shit at a higher rate than other pool occupants. (Was it foolproof? I don't know, but I guarantee you're less likely to swim in a pool with a floating turd.)

(Also, I was going to say "piss and shit" but let's face it, too many of you are too comfortable using pools as a toilet.)

You're very defensive and I assume not the anon I was replying to, so I don't have much to say to you.
