I genuinely couldn't give a shit. I'd rather most bathrooms and changing rooms have single fully sealed stalls regardless of which genders access the area, I want to be fully private while I change.

it's too expensive. A row of lockers one above another is what can be fitted in an urban gym realistically.

Where I live all changing rooms have individual stalls to get changed in, so it's not too expensive at all.

I know this was an annoying quilt bullshit response once upon a time but truly: you sound American. What people are talking about is the norm in many cities around the world. And they’ve been retrofitted into buildings that are older than the USA.

That's great if it's the norm around the world. Doesn't help people who don't live in those places.

I think the point is that it could be done in America but the people think it isn’t an option and the businesses aren’t going to invest in renovations unless they have a reason either through public demand or government regulation. But government regulation would likely excuse existing structures and only apply to new builds. Kinda like how ADA is now with access in major cities ranging from terrible to nonexistent.
