It was my high of fandom life. Big fandom, minimal drama and what drama I did see was more fun, and I loved fandom being on LJ and specific fan archives. Don't get me wrong, I love ao3 and will defend it forever, but there was just something nice about going to random fandom specific archives and LJ groups for all your fic needs.

SGA was/is the crackiest fandom I've ever been in. I've never seen a fic anywhere else where the people were rainbows, and lakes, and unicorns, and clouds. Man, a lot of the people in that fandom were On Something.

Remember the one where they were girlscout cookies? And listen I haven't gone back and read any but I remember even the crack was good in that fandom. So much fun and so much quality fic. We were spoiled.
