I refuse to pick up new media that uses this visual trope. It's really lazy and I'm tired of it.

It's so sad too, because if they really want sex dimorphism there are lot more interesting ways to go with design

You can use real life dimorphism for reference. Just look how many species of male birds have brighter colors, you could make the men more feminine and women more 'conservative' presentation-wise.
I'm not totally opposed to kemonomimi-type designs, but at least make both sexes look that way. It's just creepy when only the women are humanoid.
