I'm pretty sure it's a few people who presumably do not wash their ass, trying to make it a 'thing people do' when it's not really a thing people do, just them.

Everyone else doesn't want to sit on, or walk around with, a crusty ass all day.

Skid marks after a day at work I can kinda get, especially if all you've got is a porta-potty, right? But wanting to shower that off after work instead of marinate in it is the normal thing to do.
