is scratch n sniff back?? that was the one thing every genXer in my orbit was complaining hadn't made a comeback!

I recently unearthed my sticker book from the 80s and some of the scratch n sniffs still had smell.

Pipsticks has THE best scratch n sniff stickers-- there's one sheet of scratch n sniff every month in the Hello Kitty subscription and so I assume it's the same for their other sticker subscriptions, Hello Kitty is just the one I did for a year (and an additional month because the theme was too cute not to). They tend to have a lot of scent so you don't actually need to scratch them and it's usually very pleasant, which I say as a very scent-sensitive person.

The month it was a floral scent was pretty bad for me but others I've really enjoyed-- the one I just opened was peach! Sometimes the scent is so strong that when you open the envelope you get a whiff. Once or twice the scent is just... 'this smells like scratch n sniff stickers', but honestly that's such a nostalgic scent in its own right. And so sometimes my journal will smell delightful. But a year's subscription did leave me with a lot of extra stickers to stash away for the future.

thanks for the detailed heads-up, I'm also pretty scent-sensitive so I'm always leery especially of the floral scents. food, I can get behind. will def take a look if I'm feeling nostalgic and want that fun feeling of discovering a smelly sticker.

(the pizza and cinnamon roll stickers were my favorite, because I was young and couldn't explain HOW they got those scents!)
