Not OP, but for me it's a sign of great writing. Some of the worst misogynistic people are women (because of misogyny itself). When Amanda Rollins has her "slut shaming moments" I kind of hate her, but I understand where she's coming from. She's way more realistic than Olivia (who I absolutely adore and look up to).

And yeah I agree with you! The random cases of the week are usually the better ones. When they try to make more structured character arcs or cases that span multiple episodes/seasons it all kind of falls apart. Unfortunately they really leaned into that kind of structure in the latter seasons and I'm not enjoying SVU as much. :/
Plus, some real life cases are a joke and sometimes incredibly insensitive if not outright insulting, but fuck it if I don't love the trashiest episodes like the one with incel Logan Paul.

Same!! when they weren't afraid to point out female offenders and equate them to other scenarios, it felt right. I like the nuance, and more of it plz even tho it doesn't always end in satisfying ways. Same hat, nonny.
