I am a big hater of incest tropes too like HUGE squick, which makes it all the more funny that my favorite 2020s ship may be kaeluc. I don't think they lived like siblings only childhood friends slash slave master relationship slash sworn brothers slash medieval idea of taking in a kid. Some freak out about shipping them because it's incest but I would never ship them if I thought it was so there's a lot of ymmv there.
