Thank you all for your comments, honestly. I feel better after hearing from other people who think that I didn't do anything weird or inappropriate. It honestly hurt my feelings that my own family acted like I was doing something suspicious or strange or otherwise off. Hopefully I can let it go, it's one of those things that just stuck with me because I genuinely don't think I did or said anything that was wrong at all. My mom can be a little.....different......sometimes, so this isn't too off-the-wall for her, but it was both hurtful and kind of angering.
