I had a friend who insisted any form of discomfort or illness I came across was a sign of me needing to get tested for gluten allergies. Everything I did was a means for her to project herself onto it, and at some point every conversation had to be about being gluten free. The smallest, "I feel fine eating gluten," was always met with lectures about how terrible and unhealthy gluten is and I NEED to get tested.
"I'm tired of talking about this." Met with lectures about how closed minded I am and I NEED to get tested.
