I don't get why people have suddenly gotten nostalgic or saying this in general - but my only good contribution was reminding people who follow me that Bad Lip Reading of The Empire Strikes Back, mainly Yoda's seagulls song, came out in 2016.

That seagull song was great. It had a really fun Beat Saber map too!

The only thing I'm nostalgic for from 2016 is how everyone was playing Pokemon Go.

2016 was when my depression was becoming all consuming. I really didn't have a good time in the 2010s. =(

I think it's kinda funny because I talked to a friend about this and we both actually couldn't really remember ANYTHING that made 2016 a standout year. I mean, there likely was stuff (and I looked it up but already forgot again) but nothing memorable enough for me to be nostalgic for.
