a lot of Harry Potter fans are fucking nuts (the adults, not the kids). I had to disassociate myself from one who decided she actually had real magic powers and started calling people "muggle trash".
a lot of Elvis fans are also nuts

I was never part of the hoopla of HP, but even I remember/interacted with people who were convinced their hogwarts letter was just lost in the mail, or they were a late bloomer. Calling people Muggle Trash is absolutely hilarious.

DA. Aw, man, I hate that adults actually believe their letters got lost. I'll make the odd joke here and there (because, heck, magic school, yes please) but when people actually believe that, it's just so depressing.
