nayrt and yeah, this kind of protest always just makes me roll my eyes because it really shows just how ignorant and privileged a lot of people are. Hourly workers often CAN'T just miss a day of work without it impacting their ability to pay their bills.

A lot of those bills will be due tomorrow, too. It just doesn’t seem like the organizers put any thought towards to the people they want to join their protest. And then they screech about people making excuses.

Someone upthread. Unclear if they’re the OP or not but they weren’t happy that people had legitimate reasons not to participate.
